Application Process at UT Dallas

• Students must complete the Green Fellowship application.
• Completed application due date is Sept. 14 by 11:59 p.m.
• Faculty reference forms are due Sept. 21 by 11:59 p.m.
• Interviews will be conducted at UT Dallas in early October.
• Announcement of Green Fellows by mid-October 2025.

Spring 2026 Green Fellowship Application Timeline

• Application opens: June 30
• Applications due: Sept. 14
• Faculty reference forms due: Sept. 21
• First-round application review and selection for interviews
• Interviews at UT Dallas: Oct. 6-10
• Selection notification by: Oct. 17
• Deadline to accept: Oct. 31
• Lab matching results: November

Spring Semester at UT Southwestern

• Students will begin research at UT Southwestern at the beginning of the spring semester.
• Students are not allowed to take classes at UT Dallas during their fellowship at UT Southwestern. You will be enrolled in 12 hours of research.
• Green Fellows present their research to the UT Dallas and UT Southwestern communities at a poster session in May.
